Provided to: Montgomery County Residents aged 50 years and older, children and adolescents aged 6 months through 18 years, pregnant women, household contacts and caregivers of high-risk individuals and of infants less than 6 months of age, and people who have a long-term health problem, such as:
Heart Disease / Lung Disease / Kidney Disease / Diabetes / Neuromuscular Disorders / Anemia / Asthma / Weakened Immune System due to Steroid use, Cancer Treatment, HIV/AIDS
Medicare participants, please bring your Medicare card.
At this time, pre-registration for the 2009-2010 seasonal flu clinics has ended. You do not have to pre-register to attend our clinics. Anyone who meets the above criteria can receive the vaccine (upon availability). If you would like to pre-register for the 2010-2011 seasonal flu clinics visit our website in August, 2010.
Pneumococcal shots provided to Montgomery County Residents 65 years old or older. If you have received the pneumococcal shot at age 65 or older, you do not need another pneumococcal shot ever again. If you are 65 years of age or older, and received your first dose of pneumococcal vaccine under the age of 65, and there has been 5 years since your last dose, you may be able to receive a pneumococcal shot. Discuss this with your health care provider.
If you are interested in receiving the pneumococcal vaccine, and are unsure of your vaccine history, please check with your doctor before attending the site to see if youve already received it, and if so, when it was given.
